Principal Engineer and Solution Architect

Data Minded is a leading data agency based in Leuven, Belgium. Our goal is to enable the entire client organisation with data. We build data platforms in the most complex corporate environments. We aim to make data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, ML specialists and GenAI engineers successful. We design data organisations, we build operating models and we train the client staff to be successful. We remove bottlenecks, we challenge the status quo and we deliver results by executing projects end-to-end. Producing slides is a necessary evil. Not the end-result.

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Principal Engineer and Solution Architect at Data Minded. As part of your day-to-day tasks, you will be responsible for designing client solutions, implementing pilots, guiding data teams, advising enterprise architects and IT executives, do stakeholder management. The end goal is a shipping a working solution in the hands of our clients. This role is based in Leuven but allows for flexibility in remote work.

Experience in building and operating cloud data platforms
Familiarity with cloud services, such as AWS, Azure and GCP
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Data Analytics, Analytical Skills, and Data Analysis
Data Management and Data Modeling
Machine learning and GenAI understanding
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Experience with programming languages and tools commonly used in data engineering
